Connect your channels

Hercules OS talks to Airbnb and Booking.com through a channel manager called Channex. Bookings come in through it, and your availability and prices go out through it.

1. Open Set up your workspace and find the step Connect your channel manager.
2. Paste your key in the field Channex API key and save it. The key is stored encrypted and is never shown again.
3. Press Test connection.
4. Match each apartment to its channel listing. Open Listings and then Channels to see which apartments are mapped.

Success looks like: the test says the connection works, and on Listings, Channels your apartments show Mapped.

Three modes per apartment

• Off: nothing happens.
• Shadow (receive only): bookings are received and nothing is sent to the channels. A safe way to check that everything matches.
• Live (pushes): availability and prices are sent to the channels.

Move an apartment to Live only when you are happy with what shadow showed you. Each change asks you to confirm.

Connecting Google (Gmail and Sheets) is a separate, optional step.
